IP ( Internet Protocol ) address helps in communication of two devices. Internet Protocol address is a numerical label assigned to every device connected to a network (Computer network ) that uses the web ( Internet ) Protocol for communication. IP address help to check your devices current location ; city, region, country, ISP and location.
An IP ( Internet Protocol ) address serves two main functions
1.host or network interface identification.

Unicast addressing
A unicast address is an address that identifies a unique node on a network. Unicast addressing is available in IPv4 and IPv6 and typically refers to a single sender or a single receiver, although it can be used in both sending and receiving. Unicast is the most common form of IP addressing.
Broadcast addressing
Each network or subnet has a dedicated broadcast address, through which all users of the network can broadcast. In a broadcast address, all the host bits are set to the binary value 1, so if all host bits are set to the value 0, this is the subnet address.
Multicast addressing
A multicast address is a logical identifier for a group of hosts in a computer network that are available to process datagrams or frames intended to be multicast for a designated network service. The full range of multicast addresses is from 224.0. 0.0 to 239.255. 255.255.
Anycast addressing
Anycast is a network addressing and routing method in which incoming requests can be routed to a variety of different locations. an anycast address is an address allocated to a set of interfaces that typically belong to different routers. When a packet is destined to an anycast address, it is delivered to the closest interface that has this anycast address, where the term “closest” is determined by the routing protocol.

Reverse ip/DNS lookup

localhost ip
all networking systems, localhost uses the IP address 127.0. 0.1. That is the most commonly used IPv4 "loopback address" and it is reserved for that purpose. The IPv6 loopback address is ::1. It is used to access the network services that are running on the host via the loopback network interface. Using the loopback interface bypasses any local network interface hardware.
Ping IP

Physical Address
A physical address is in reference to the computer's memory on a hardware tool which is physical. Real address is another term for physical address. It uses a true memory where its associates answer on the bus' memory chips almost all the time. The physical address is not affiliated with email address.
